CODE OF CONDUCT
FOR PARENTS
Provide your child with the support that he/she needs to uphold the commitment made to FSVBC
Ensure that the
financial obligations to the FSVBC are fully met in a prompt manner
Understand that all communications to the coach
concerning their child’s practices, playing time, playing position, relationship with the coach and players and overall
performance is to be done by the child first and not by parents, or guardians
Parents will conduct themselves at
all FSVBC functions and events in a manner that provides an appropriate role model for their child and their teammates in
terms of good sportsmanship, respect for authority and concern for others
The 24 hour rule means that Parents
CANNOT approach a coach at a tournament about a coaching complaint, must wait 24 hours before contacting the coach .You may
however contact the Director, Jim McHugh at any time, the 24 hour rule does not apply to the Director
